| I just want to thank Christie for teaching me to be more humble in my dealing with people and through listening to christie’s music i almost feel a taste of heaven and that is constantly happening to me on a daliy basis. I love his music and sadly I never got to see him but I play his songs every day and I believe he is in a far better place and I look forward to meeting him some day. He was a beautiful human being and I feel my life to be so much better since I started listening to his music. My favourite track is ’Roll back the clouds’ My deepest sympathy to his beautiful family. Regards, Margaret Slevin |

| I discovered Christie Hennessy under exceptional circumstances during the Rose of Tralee festival in 1992. It was a fantastic finale to my week as a Rose and I still have the video of his performance. Hearing his voice and music again brings back great memories.
My thoughts go to his family. Anna-Marie Dreyfus France Rose 1992 |

| Just to say I clicked on Christie’s website as I was trying to remember the beginning of one of Christie’s songs which I know for sure my Father-in-law who is a huge fan of Christies for many years will want to sing tonite for his 40th wedding anniversary. My husband is accompanying him on the guitar and is practising hard as I write this because he wants it to be perfect. When I heard the song it brought a tear to my eye as it brought back many memories of parties and gatherings gone by. RIP Christie and thank-you. |

| I have just rewatched the RTE tribute programme on Christy and it makes me feel so humble.
Is somebody like Christy more valuable to humankind than our union leaders, our captains of industry, our politicians and our pompous academics? I think so. Look at the the pleasure and the example that his life and music has given to so many - and will continue to do so for centuries to come. The extent to which our school system failed such as Christy is nothing short of disgraceful. It failed totally to comprehend the the essentails of human nature and, of course, to acknowledge the range, depth and complexity of human talent. I was simply knocked out by Christy’s relationship with his daughters and son. Christy and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless Pat O’Mahony |

| He estat uns dies a Ireland, i he conegut aquest músic a través de la TV, justament quan ja javia mort. Gràcies a un reportatges que vaig veure en una ciutat d’Eire ara puc gaudir de la seva música i del seu art. Estimo Eire i estimo Christie Henessy.
Us acompanyo en el vostre sentiment i encendré una espelma (candela) per el seu esperit, que m’ha arrivat fins el fons del meu cor. Abraçades per a vosaltres que ploreu i recordeu igual com jo. |
